PACU
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Everett, Washington
- Start date: ASAP
- Assignment length: 8 weeks
- Shift: Day, 4x10 hours, 10:30–21:00
- First-timers accepted
- Weekends not required
- Call not required
- Float required
- Locals not accepted
- Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2-week period
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (1 year of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Unit / Setting
- Level II Trauma Center
- ASPAN standards are followed
- Patient population includes pediatric (1yo+), adults, and geriatric patients
- Cases include same-day surgeries, inpatient admits, and observation patients
- Surgical services include vascular, general surgery, orthopedic, pediatric, urology, gynecology, neuro/spine, podiatry, ophthalmology, thoracic, trauma, bariatric ENT, oral, plastics, cardiovascular lab, and Interventional Radiology

- Charting system: EPIC
- Scrub color: any, except no reddish orange permitted
- Parking is facility paid
