Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Wilmington, North Carolina.
• 13-week contract.
• Day shift, 3x12 hours, 6:45–19:15.
• 36 hours per week.
• Locals accepted.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of experience on the cardiac floor
• Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start.

Preferred Qualifications

• Arterial line management
• Wound Care/Wound Vac
• Charge experience

Unit Details

• Ratios: 1:6, varies per acuity.
• Float requirement: will follow unit rotation, not first to float.
• Weekend requirement: 4 per 4 weeks, flexible.
• Unit orientation: 24 hours.
• Scrubs: Navy.

Additional Notes

• RTO after booking is not allowed.
• Contract staff may be assigned to Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team duties.
