• Role: RN/ 6E MedSurg Ortho
• Location: Seattle, Washington
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Float scope: May float within scope to meet facility needs
• First-timers accepted: Yes
• Locals accepted: Yes

Unit / Clinical Focus

• Mainly orthopedics trauma related to MCA, including spine injury, femoral fractures, and traction
• Also sees neuro and surgery patients
• Primary unit for vascular, urology, and gyn

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• 2 years of Med Surg experience
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• Ortho Trauma experience
• Experience with Epic
• 2 references within the last year: 1 manager and 1 CHG RN or above
• Pending license not accepted

Preferred Qualifications

• Charge RN experience
• Level 1 trauma experience

Schedule Details

• Ratio: 1:3-4 days, 1:4-5 nights
• On-call not required
• Block schedule not accommodated

Facility Notes

• Magnet, Teaching, Level I trauma facility
• 500 staffed beds
• Charting: Epic
• Scrub color: Any solid color scrubs; light blue scrubs also provided on unit
• Parking is paid onsite and offsite options are available at additional cost
