Description
GI Lab RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Simpsonville, South Carolina
- Day shift, 5x8 hours: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Rotating shift start times may include 6:00 AM, 6:30 AM, 7:00 AM, or 7:30 AM
- Call is required: 4–5 days per month, varying by need
- Weekend shifts: 1 weekend shift every other month, varying by need
- Floating is required to other facilities if needed
Role context
- Manager stated candidates need OR PACU experience because the facility is small and GI lab nurses need to be competent in OR PACU and able to take call
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- GI Lab experience with at least 1 year of experience
- GI Lab experience within the last year
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
- Experience with Epic
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- One completed travel assignment
