Tele RN
Overview
- Travel assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana
- Unit: 4 South
- 36 beds
- 1:6 patient ratio
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- Telemetry (1 year of experience)
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Unit Details
- 12-hour shifts (7-7)
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays required
- Nurses float to other units as needed
- Telemetry in each room with monitors at the stations
- Procedures performed on the unit include PICC line removal and vas cath/temp cath removal

Additional Notes
- Strong nursing background, thorough assessment skills, and attention to detail are emphasized
- The unit uses patient care techs and unit secretaries
- Ceil Blue scrubs are required
- Hospital hygiene/dress code policy must be followed
