Interventional Radiology

Overview

Travel/Contract assignment in Carmel, Indiana
Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00–17:30
40 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
Call required: minimum 2 days a week and every 3rd weekend
First timers not accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Indiana
Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
ARRT
Conscious sedation skills
Experience operating Acist injector, Siemens C-arm, Philips C-arm, Medrad power injector, Rotopro, Diamondback, IVUS, OCT, Shock wave, Rampart, Pneumbra, and Inari equipment

Procedures / Clinical Scope

Cardiac: LHC, RHC, balloon pumps, temp pacer, perm pacer/defib, pericardial effusion, STEMI call
IR: venous access, drain placement, GI tube insertion, PE, DVTs, TIPS, PV, fistula work, UFEs, prostate embolization, GI/Post Partum/other internal bleeds
