Overview

• Travel/contract OR RN in Florence, South Carolina
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 4x10s, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• 12 ORs
• On-call required: 2 late calls until 11 PM per week and every 3rd–4th weekend
• Weekend requirement: every 3rd to 4th weekend
• No floating between service lines
• No floating to sister facilities
• First-time travelers accepted if they have a broad scope of specialty competency
• Local travelers are not accepted
• 60-mile radius rule
• Block scheduling requires manager approval based on unit needs
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum of 5 years of OR - Operating Room experience
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• Experience in an acute care setting
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Neurology experience
• Orthopedics experience
• ENT Surgery experience
• OB/GYN experience
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency

Preferred

• Well-rounded OR experience in general, neuro, ortho, ENT, and GYN
• Covid vaccination records are highly preferred

Facility / Unit Notes

• Level 3 trauma center
• Scrubs are provided
• Epic charting
• Parking is free

Compliance / Pre-Start Items

• Copy of driver’s license or state ID
• Copy of Social Security card
• E-Verify attestation
• Annual background check covering all locations lived/worked for the past 7 years
• EPLS/GSA/SAM within 30 days of start and updated for renewals/extensions
• HHS/OIG within 30 days of start and updated for renewals/extensions
• Photo for badge
• Signed assignment acknowledgment
• Signed employee confidentiality agreement
• Signed systems user agreement
• Completed user access request
• Signed HIPAA confidentiality agreement
• Job description required
• Employee info completed prior to start
• Orientation modules must be completed before orientation
• Physical exam, updated annually
• Tdap within 10 years of start or declination
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• TB questionnaire
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity/vaccination documentation
• 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
• Flu vaccine or approved exemption required during flu season
• Respirator clearance required for patient-facing travelers
• 2 clinical references
• Performance evaluation dated within 12 months of start
• South Carolina state exclusion list required

• Hurricane season runs June through November, and travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during that time
