Physical Therapist

Overview

• Contract role in Hot Springs, South Dakota
• 13-week assignment
• 40 hours per week
• 8-hour shifts, Tuesday–Saturday

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in South Dakota
• Physical Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapeutic care and rehabilitation services for assigned clients
• Develop, revise, and implement plans of care based on assessment, client needs, physician orders, and goals
• Perform or monitor treatments using physical agents such as heat, water, electricity, whirlpool baths, electrical muscle stimulation, and ultrasound
• Document skilled and medically necessary care accurately and on time
• Participate in quality management, required in-services, staff meetings, case conferences, business development meetings, and customer service programs
• Conduct PTA and Home Health Aide supervisory visits, and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides as applicable

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS
• BLS/BCLS
• PALS
• NRP
