Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Johnston, Iowa
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:00–6:00
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract

Role Details

• Pediatrics
• Every other weekend
• Special equipment includes CPT machine, Volera, metaneb, cough assist, ventilators, bipap, cpap, and trachs
• Patient diagnoses include CP, spinal cord injury, birth injury, MV accidents, SMA, Trisomy 21, and Rhetts syndrome

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Iowa
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• 3 years of Respiratory Therapist experience
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS
• PALS
• NBRC certification is highly preferred for CRTs and RRTs

Additional Notes

• Child and Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter training is required
• Flu vaccine and COVID vaccine are not required but are highly recommended
