MS/Tele

Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in Tyler, Texas
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
36 hours per week
13-week contract
Patient ratio: 1:6
Epic charting
Float required
Weekends required

Unit

2 West C is a medical-surgical unit with telemetry capabilities
Unit has 12 private rooms and 2 semi-private rooms, for a maximum census of 16 patients
Focuses on patients with vascular disease diagnoses
May also receive medical-surgical and telemetry overflow patients

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
7-year background check

Fit test within 1 year of start
Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years of start
