Post Partum / Mother-Baby / Couplet Care

Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in Issaquah, Washington.
13-week assignment.
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30.
36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Washington.
Post Partum experience with 2 years of experience.
Post Partum experience within the last year.
One completed travel assignment.
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association.
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience.
Labor and Delivery experience.
OB/GYN experience.

Unit / Clinical Setting

Post-partum vaginal or cesarean delivery.
Tubal ligation and circumcision.
GYN surgeries.
Couplet care.
Low risk antepartum.
Transition nursery.

Float Scope

May float to NICU or L&D.
May also float to First Hill Campus.

Required Clinical Skills / Experience

Blood/Blood Products Administration.
Drains, Epidural Pumps, PCA Pumps, Syringe Pumps.
Wound Vac.
Heparin, Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate.
OB-GYN care.
Post-op care.
Post vaginal delivery care.
Postpartum re-admit.
Normal newborn care, including thermoregulation and glucose management.
