RN Emergency Dept

Overview

Travel RN role in the Emergency Department
Location: Highlands, North Carolina
Schedule: 36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit Details

ED with 7 beds
Standard ED equipment
EMR: Cerner
Patient ratios follow ENA guidelines
Weekends rotate
No on-call except during flexing with low volume

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
PALS
CPI

Preferred Qualifications

TNCC
ENPC
NRP
CEN
CPEN
CTRN

Floating

May float to Med surg, though the unit tries not to float

Dress code: Navy scrubs
Best fit: customer service focused
