Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Overview

• Travel assignment in Lee's Summit, Missouri
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 0700–1530
• On-call required: 12 days per month, including weekends and holidays
• 13-week contract
• 40 hours per week

Role Summary

• Experienced Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Technologist needed for a fast-paced cardiovascular and IR program
• Supports both diagnostic and interventional procedures

Procedures / Clinical Scope

• Left and right heart catheterizations
• Pacemaker insertions
• Intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP)
• Impella device placement and support
• GI bleed embolizations
• Pulmonary embolism thrombectomies
• Kyphoplasties
• Drain placements
• Port placements
• Additional IR procedures as required

Responsibilities

• Scrub, circulate, and monitor during Cath Lab and IR procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields
• Operate imaging equipment and ancillary devices
• Assist physicians with device preparation, placement, and troubleshooting
• Respond to emergent cases while on call
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety and infection control standards
• Provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after procedures

Required Qualifications

• Cath Lab Technologist (1 year of experience)
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS
• Cath Lab Tech Certification
