CVOR Tech

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Silver Spring, Maryland
Day shift: 4x10 hours, 6:00–16:30
40 guaranteed hours per week
13-week contract
Operating Room assignment
12 ORs
Must work Christmas week

Required Qualifications

CVOR Technologist (1 year of experience)
CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Experience working with Adult patients
Experience working with Adolescent patients
Experience working with Geriatric patients

Preferred

NBSTSA
Cardiovascular case experience

Schedule and Call

Weekend required
On-call required
Call requirement: 2–3 calls per week and at least 1 weekend per month
Open to block scheduling
Locals accepted

Clinical Focus

Adult, adolescent, and geriatric cases
General and Neuro Surgery

Scrub color provided

Compliance Notes

No tobacco or nicotine use allowed; nicotine/cotinine testing is enforced
Fit testing is required before start
Drug screen includes cotinine/nicotine and marijuana

2 clinical references are required
