Overview

Travel/Contract role in New Orleans, Louisiana
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
36 hours per week
Weekend requirement: rotating weekends
No on-call requirement
No float requirement
Patient ratio: 1:4
Scrubs: Royal Blue

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Louisiana
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
ER experience
Experience with Epic
State license verification required within 30 days of start
NURSYS verification required within 30 days of start

EPLS/GSA/SAM within 30 days of start
HHS/OIG within 30 days of start
Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam within 12 months of start and updated annually; score 80% or higher

Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam within 12 months of start and updated annually; score 80% or higher
Core Part I, Core Part II, and Core Part III, updated annually
Physical exam within 12 months of start
Tdap within 10 years
Negative TB or Chest X-Ray within 3 months of start
TB Questionnaire, updated annually
Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella immunity documentation
Hepatitis B series, titer, or declination
Drug testing within 30 days of start
Flu vaccination/documentation required for the 2026–27 season
Skills Checklist 1 within 12 months of start and updated annually
Employment application and missing information tracking must include 7 years of work history with no gap more than 30 days
