RN - Emergency Dept
Overview
- Travel RN assignment in the Emergency Department
- 13 weeks
- 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week
- No call required
- 4 weekend shifts per schedule
- 23 beds
- Patient ratio: 4:1
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- CPI
- TNCC
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years ED experience
- ENPC instead of PALS
Unit Details
- Staffed by 40
- Day shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 5 RN, 1 Paramedic, and 1 PCT
- Midshift staffing includes 4 RN
- Night shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 5 RN, 1 Paramedic, and 1 PCT
- Typical procedures include Cardioversion, TNK, and Moderate Sedation
- Equipment includes Welch Allyn and GE
- EMR: Meditech
