Operating Room RN

Overview

Travel/contract role in Springfield, Oregon
Start: ASAP
Shift: Days, 4x10 hours, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
First-time travelers are not accepted
Local candidates are not accepted
Pending license is accepted
On-call required: up to four 8-hour shifts per month per 4-week cycle
No floating within scope

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oregon
OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
Orthopedics experience
Neurology experience
Vascular Surgery experience
Urology experience
OB/GYN experience
Experience with Epic

Preferred Experience

Ortho experience: 2 years of level 1-2 experience, including total joints
Neuro experience: 2 years of level 2 experience, including cranis
Gen/Trauma experience
Vascular experience
Endovascular/Hybrid experience
GYN/Uro experience
ENT/Plastics experience
Eyes experience
Robotics experience

Certifications

BLS
ACLS
PALS

Unit Details

Operating room with high-acuity ortho, neuro, and general cases
Level II Trauma Center
60-70 cases per day
4 actively used robot rooms, including one new DaVinci 5
