X-Ray Technologist

Overview

• Temp assignment in Midland, Michigan
• Days shift, 8 hours per day
• 13-week contract

Role

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures using ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis
• Positions patient and equipment to demonstrate the area being examined
• Provides radiation protection for patient and staff during radiation exposures
• Adjusts technical factors for appropriate exposure using independent judgment and knowledge of anatomy, disease effects, and radiologic equipment

Required Qualifications

• Radiology Technologist (1 year of experience)
• Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Permanent address outside the 50-mile local-candidate radius
• Work History Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to specialty
• 2 Supervisory Reference Forms taken within the last two years
