Description
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Cookeville, Tennessee
- Specialty: MS
- Inpatient Oncology patients included
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
- 36 hours per week
- Ratio: 1:5–6
- Every other weekend required
- First-timers accepted
- May float within scope to meet facility needs
- Will never be asked to exceed ratio of 1:5–6
- Short term acute care setting
- Total staffed beds: 232
- Charting: Paragon
- Scrub color: Royal blue
- Free parking
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Med Surg experience with 2 years of experience
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or United States Department of Defense
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred

Schedule / Assignment Notes
- On-call not required
- Block scheduling not accommodated
- RTO reviewed case by case
- Guaranteed hours: call off 12 hours per 2 weeks
