Cardiac IMC RN

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Portland, Oregon
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
• 36 hours per week
• 1:4 ratio
• First-time travelers accepted
• Locals accepted
• Pending license accepted if the application has been submitted and received by the licensing board to qualify for the 90-day license exemption
• May float within scope to Acute Care/IMC
• On-call not required
• Block scheduling not guaranteed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oregon
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of Cardiac Telemetry experience
• 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Experience with Epic

Unit / Clinical Context

• Cardiology-focused IMC setting
• Diagnoses include ACS, NSTEMI, HF management, pre- and post-cath care, arrhythmia management, pacemaker placement, CABG, valve replacement, TAVR, amputations, fem-pop bypass, pre- and post-heart transplant, Ventricular Assist Device, and inotrope support
• Safe patient mobilization equipment, including ceiling lifts, is available in most patient rooms

• Parking: $16 daily pass required 8am–5pm only; public transportation is highly encouraged
