L&D CST
Overview
- Travel assignment in Wichita, Kansas
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Unit: Delivery Room / (708)
- Floor 2, Building 3
- 26 beds
Required Qualifications
- Surgical Technician (6 months of experience)
- Surgical Technician experience within the last year
- BLS
- CST or NBSTSA
- Experience working with Labor and Delivery patients
Preferred Qualifications
- Circulating C-Sections
- More than 2 years of labor and delivery experience
- High risk LDR experience
Unit Details
- Day shift staff includes 1 CNC(TL), 14 nurses, 2-3 ST, 2 unit clerks, Anesthesia Tech, and OB Hospitalist
- Night shift staff includes 1 CNC(TL), 12 nurses, 2 ST, 1 unit clerk, Anesthesia Tech, and OB Hospitalist
- Typical patient ratios include 1:1 for high risk labor c-sections; 1:2 for antepartum, PPROM, PTL on mag, and PP on mag; 1:3 for PP mag no baby and outpatients
- Common procedures include C-sections, inductions, cesarean hysterectomies, and D&C
