Labor and Delivery
Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Issaquah, Washington
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Locals at same rate
- 1st time travelers accepted
Unit Details
- 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
- Staffing ratio: 1:1–3
- Float scope: Post-Partum, and possibly L&D at Swedish First Hill
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP
- EFM
- Experience with Epic
- Active compact license honored for Swedish facilities

- Blood/Blood Products Administration

- Cooling / Warming Blanket
- Drains
- Epidural Pumps
- PCA Pumps
- Syringe Pumps
- Wound Vac
- Heparin
- Insulin
- Magnesium Sulfate
- Attends all deliveries
- Attends high risk deliveries
- GYN surgeries
- Couplet care
- Transition nursery
Scheduling Notes
- May request up to 2 major holidays off
- Traveler must work 1 of 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve
