Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Overview

Travel/Contract assignment in Florence, South Carolina
13-week contract
Day shift: 4x10s, 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
Weekends and holidays are included
Daily caseload: 10–12 patients per tech
On-call required: at least 1 weekend a month and 1–3 days a week depending on weekend call rotation
Must be able to respond to call and arrive at the facility within 30 minutes
No floating between service lines
No floating to sister facilities
First-time travelers accepted
Local candidates are not accepted
60-mile local radius

Required Qualifications

1 year of experience
BLS
ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS, RCCS)
Registered with ARDMS or CCI
Radiation badge required; agency must provide the badge

Preferred

Epic familiarity

Additional Notes

Block scheduling may be considered with manager approval, depending on unit needs
Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
Travelers should be aware of hurricane-season emergency response assignments from June through November
Housing should be considered carefully because of the 30-minute call response requirement
