Registered Respiratory Therapist

Overview

Travel assignment in Tallahassee, Florida
36 hours per week
13-week contract
Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Unit: Respiratory 754
Floating: rotates throughout all inpatient units

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
NRP

Unit Details

266-bed acute-care hospital
Unit has two 10-bed ICUs
Uses Meditech for documentation
Equipment includes various ventilators and BiPAPs
Procedures on the unit include aerosol treatments, BiPAP management, and ventilator management
RTs may perform intubation, arterial line insertion, and bedside bronchoscopy assist
RTs participate in daily nursing unit department rounding and work with multiple disciplines
Required uniform: scrubs
