PCU

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Melbourne, Florida
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
Ratios: 1:5
Guaranteed hours: contracted hours guaranteed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Schedule and Float

Every other weekend required, or a total of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period, depending on unit needs
No on-call requirement
Float required to other units or locations within Cape Canaveral, Holmes Regional, Palm Bay, or Viera
Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed

Additional Requirements

2 references from authority figures within the last year
Flu vaccine required during flu season, with medical or religious exemptions only
