Description

Surgical Technologist/Scrub Tech

Overview

Travel assignment in Newburgh, Indiana.
13-week contract.
Start date: ASAP.
Guaranteed hours: 40 per week.
Schedule: 4x10, with a 0600–0700 start time.
On call 1x/week and every 6th weekend, with a 30-minute response time.
Weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled.
40-mile radius rule; no local candidates.

Required Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (1 year of experience).
Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year.
One completed travel assignment.
NBSTSA.
BLS issued by American Heart Association.
Associate degree or certificate.
Experience with general surgery.
Experience with vascular surgery.
Experience with neuro surgery.

Preferred

EPIC familiarity.

Unit / Assignment Details

OR with 2 campuses.
Level II Trauma Center.
30 OR suites.
Floating between both campuses is required; mid-shift floating is possible.
Usually assigned to one campus or the other based on skillset and must be open to both.

Additional Notes

Scrub colors are provided.
COVID-19 vaccine not required, subject to change.
