Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Role Overview

Travel assignment in the Cath Lab with 4 rooms and 1 patient per room.

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
ARRT
Cath Lab Tech Certification

Preferred Qualifications

RCIS

Clinical Details

Typical procedures include cardiac cath, cerebral angiograms, stents, balloons, ENT Lab, and scrubbing
Will consider an RN that can scrub
On-call is frequent and flexibility is needed
EMR: Meditech and MacLab

Unit Information

Cath Lab
22 staff members
Day shift includes 1 Charge RN, Director, and 4 staff members per room
Night shift includes an on-call team with 3 each call team and 7 total
Patient ratio: 1:1
Equipment: all GE rooms
