Acute Care Float

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Edgewood, Kentucky
Night shift: 19:00–07:30, 3x12
13-week contract
Potential to accommodate block scheduling, but it is not guaranteed
Start dates listed: 10/19 or 11/2

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
Float (1.5 years of experience)
Float experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with pre cardiac cath and managing ports
Experience with Epic

Float Scope

May float between Edgewood and Florence campuses
May float to Observation Units, MS, and MS Tele units
Supports ED boarders across the system
If there are not enough boarders, will float to observation units at Edgewood and Florence

Additional Notes

Only one holiday can be requested for RTO
Travel partners are not allowed
Locals within 75 miles are accepted at $7 less than the posted bill rate
Navy blue scrubs required
No cafeteria available; refrigerator and microwave provided on-site
Free parking in any unrestricted space
