RN Emergency Room

Overview

Location: West Burlington, Iowa
Employment type: LTA
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 1300 - 0130 and 1500 - 0330
May occasionally be placed on call during low census; if called in, must arrive on-site within one hour

Role Summary

Emergency Room RN responsible for assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating patient care in the emergency care setting
Must triage safely, rapidly, and accurately for every patient entering the emergency care system
Coordinates care with other professional disciplines as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS
ACLS
TNCC
NIHSS
CPI/MOAB
Driver's License
Experience with Epic
