Operating Room Registered Nurse
Location
Sitka, Alaska
Employment Type
Contract
Schedule
4/10-hour days, Tuesday through Friday, with on-call coverage required 1/3 share.
Assignment Details
- Located in the Operating Room.
- Handles elective and emergency cases including abdominal, thoracic, Urology, ENT, Plastic, Orthopedics, Vascular, and OB/GYN.
- Uses after-hour call services for nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Housing and transportation are not provided.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Valid RN license in Alaska.
- OR - Operating Room (3 years of experience).
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year.
- BLS.
- ACLS.
- PALS.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Critical Access Hospital and/or Rural Operating Rooms.
