RN - Stepdown Cardiac

Job Overview

  • Employment type: Travel
  • Location: Marquette, Michigan
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Weekly hours: 36
  • Shift: 12-hour shifts
  • Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
  • Call: Only if census is low
  • Float: Yes

Specialty Focus

  • Cardiac and stepdown care in a medical-surgical telemetry setting
  • Patient population includes cardiac, trauma, and stepdown-level patients

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Michigan
  • Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
  • Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience with chest tubes
  • Experience with cardiac drips
  • PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
