CVOR Tech

Overview

  • Travel/Contract assignment in Cape Girardeau, Missouri
  • 13-week contract
  • Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00–17:00
  • 75-mile radius

Role Details

  • At least 2 years of experience required
  • Must be proficient in scrubbing all CVOR, vascular, and hybrid cases
  • Must be able to scrub other cases when not doing CVOR/vascular
  • Includes rotating weekend, weekday, and holiday call

Required Qualifications

  • CVOR Technologist with 2 years of experience
  • CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
  • Experience scrubbing vascular cases
  • Experience scrubbing hybrid cases
  • Experience in the general operating room (OR)
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • NRP
  • Permanent license in hand required with submission; temporary licenses are not accepted
  • Tech Cert Verification - National required within 30 days of start
  • NURSYS verification required within 30 days of start
  • Background check required, including 7-year criminal check and verification of all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 60 days of start
  • HHS/OIG required within 60 days of start
  • Missouri state-specific search required within 60 days of start
  • Education verification required
  • Color blind testing required
  • Competency exam required as applicable to profession/specialty
  • Medication test/pharmacology competency exam required as applicable by profession
  • Photo for badge required
  • Influenza verification form required
  • E-learning required for all candidates
  • E-learning transcript required
  • Physical exam required within 1 year of start
  • Fit mask test required within 12 months of start
  • Negative TB screening or chest X-ray required within 1 year of start
  • TB questionnaire required annually
  • Rubeola, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunization documentation required
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen required within 30 days of start
  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption documentation required for the current flu season
  • 2 professional references required
  • Employment application required
  • Annual skills checklist required
