Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract role in Lillington, North Carolina
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
36 hours per week
Short-term acute care hospital
Level III trauma center and teaching hospital
733 staffed beds

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
ED - Emergency Department (3 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or Military
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or Military
CPI
PALS issued by American Heart Association or Military
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic
Must be willing to float between both campuses and to all Harnett Health locations as needed
Every-other-weekend availability
Holidays required
First-time travelers accepted
No pending license accepted
Local candidates are not accepted within a 50-mile radius

Schedule and Assignment Expectations

Callouts for scheduled shifts require makeup shifts as determined by the department
On-call is not required
Block scheduling is not specified
RTO is at manager’s discretion

Additional Notes

Ratio: 1:4
Return travelers must have been away for 1 year
The system allows a maximum of 2 contracts, with only 1 extension; after that, a 6-month break is required to return
Interview availability must be provided with submission
