Description
Cardiovascular Sonographer
Overview
- Temp assignment in Sioux City, Iowa
- Days shift, 8 hours per day
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Based in a Level 3 Trauma Center
- May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
Role focus
- Cardiovascular sonographer with vascular experience
- Full vascular skill set expected, including vascular processes, renal, pre-op, pain mapping, and more detailed work
- Typical volume: 7–8 scans per day
Required Qualifications
- Echo-Vascular Technician with 2 years of experience
- Echo-Vascular Technician experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or US Military
- ARDMS or CCI
- Driver's License
- Full vascular skill set including renal, pre-op, and pain mapping
- Echo Technologist experience
- Vascular Sonographer experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred
- BLS from AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates also accepted
Additional details
- NBO: 16 hours
- EMR: EPIC
- Dress code: Black Scrubs
- Traveler will be required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Years Day
- Limit of 1 day request off between 11/25–11/29 and 12/23–12/27
