Overview

Travel/Contract assignment in Dyersburg, Tennessee
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
Weekend and holiday rotation required
No on-call requirement
Interview required prior to offer
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Tennessee
Registered Respiratory Therapist with 5 years of experience
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP
Experience with pediatric intubation
Experience with neonatal resuscitation
Experience with arterial blood sampling
Ability to interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

Travel experience preferred

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive respiratory care in a busy Respiratory Therapy department
Care for patients across the lifespan, from neonates through geriatrics
Perform intubations across the neonatal through geriatric patient population
Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) procedures, including arterial puncture and analysis
Perform all aspects of respiratory care based on patient needs and department standards
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide safe, effective patient care
