Description
Cardiovascular Registered Nurse
Overview
- Temp RN role in Petoskey, Michigan
- Nights, 12 hours per day
- 13-week contract
- Based in the Cardiovascular Unit (CVU)
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Cardiac Stepdown (1 year of experience)
- Cardiac Stepdown experience within the last year
- Stepdown experience
Unit Details
- The CVU cares for over 4000 cardiology patients annually
- Procedures include PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers
- Approximately 300 open heart surgery patients are discharged from this unit
- The CVU also specializes in congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies
Additional Notes
- References are not required
- Full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment
- There is a strict 3-strike attendance policy beginning 6/1/2024
