- Travel/Contract role in Aurora, Colorado
- 13-week assignment
- 3x12 rotating shifts
- First-timers accepted

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- CTICU - Cardiothoracic Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
- CTICU - Cardiothoracic Intensive Care experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 references from the last two years; one must be from employment within the last year, and both must be from Charge RN, Manager, Supervisor, or above
- Employment application with 3 years of employment history, including current/valid phone number and email address; gaps greater than 30 days must be explained
- Work history verification for the last 3 years, including most recent employer; attestations not accepted
- Skills Checklist 1
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam within 1 year of start and updated annually
- Competency Exam within 1 year of start and updated annually, with a minimum score of 80%
- Core Part I, Core Part II, and Core Part III within 1 year of start and updated annually, each with a minimum score of 80%
- OSHA Mandatory within 1 year of start and updated annually, with a minimum score of 80%
- Physical exam within 1 year of start and updated annually, signed by an MD, DO, NP, or PA
- Fit test within 12 months of start and updated annually
- Tdap within 10 years of start or signed declination within 1 year of start
- Negative TB or chest X-ray within 1 year of start and updated annually
- TB questionnaire annually for positive TB
- Measles, mumps, and rubella immunity documentation
- Hepatitis B immunity documentation or declination
- Varicella immunity documentation
- Drug testing within 30 days of start and updated annually
- Flu vaccine or facility-approved exemption
- COVID vaccination documentation or signed declination
- Color blind exam before start date
- Colorado CAPS check results within 60 days of start
- CO CAPS release authorization annually
- Background check within 60 days of start
- EPLS/GSA/SAM within 60 days of start
- HHS/OIG within 60 days of start
- Education verification within 60 days of start
- Transcript or diploma acceptable in lieu of education verification
- NURSYS verification within 60 days of start

Unit / Clinical Setting
- 24-bed CT ICU
- Regional destination for comprehensive circulatory and respiratory support for critically ill adults
- Specializes in open-heart surgeries, ventricular assist devices, heart and lung transplants, ECMO, aortic aneurysm repair, vascular and thoracic surgeries
- Uses bedside modalities ranging from vasoactive medications to complete cardio-pulmonary support

- Ratios vary by acuity from 1:2, 1:1 to 2:1
- RTO max approved: 10 days, with blackout periods during specified dates
