Overview

  • Travel/Contract role in Phoenix, Arizona
  • Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:30–19:00
  • 36 hours per week
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Patient age groups: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
  • First-timer OK
  • Local OK
  • On-call required
  • Open to block: No

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Arizona
  • OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
  • OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Trauma experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous charge experience
  • NEUROLOGY
  • Burns
  • Scrub / Hand / Burn

Required Skills

  • General Surgery: Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection, Hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, Laparoscopic assisted procedures, Thyroidectomy partial/total, Whipple
  • Gynecology: Abdominal/Vaginal hysterectomy, Anterior/Posterior repair, Bilateral tubal ligation, Dilation & Curettage, Laparoscopic assisted gynecological procedures
  • Orthopedic: Arthroscopy, Closed reduction of fractures, Laminectomy/discectomy, Open reduction of fractures, Total joint replacement

Additional Notes

  • Current and valid driver’s license, state ID, or passport required
  • Background check, education verification, fingerprinting, sex offender search, physical exam, fit mask, TB screening, immunization documentation, and drug testing are required before start
