Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Edgewood, Kentucky
- Night shift: 19:00–07:30, 3x12
- 13-week contract
- Potential block scheduling, not guaranteed
- Potential to float between Edgewood and Florence campuses, including Observation Units and MS/MS Tele units
- Supports ED boarders; if there are not enough boarders, the role floats to observation units
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- ED - Emergency Department (1.5 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or United States Department of Defense
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or United States Department of Defense
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or United States Department of Defense
- TNCC
- ENPC
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with pre cardiac cath and managing ports
- Experience with Epic

Compliance / Health Requirements
- COVID required
- Flu required
- Tdap required
- Negative TB or chest X-ray required
- Physical exam within 12 months
- Fit mask test within 12 months of start
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
- Two clinical references within 2 years
- Photo for badge required
- Skills checklist required for applicable unit
Additional Notes
- Only one holiday may be requested for RTO
- Travel partners are not allowed
- Navy blue scrubs
- No cafeteria available; refrigerator and microwave provided on-site
- Free parking in unrestricted spaces
- Tattoos/piercings restrictions apply, including no nose rings or gauged earrings
- Nails must be less than 1/4" and natural fingernails are required for direct client care
- Scrubs/apparel may not have agency or brand logos
