Overview
- Travel assignment in Santa Fe, New Mexico
- Full-time
- 4 days per week, 10 hours per shift
- Start: ASAP
- Weekend requirement: Yes
- On-call requirement: Yes
- Floating: Yes, to Main
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Surgical Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Ability to proficiently scrub 3 specialty areas including but not limited to: Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, Neurology, Titanium Rib, Robotics
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to proficiently scrub 3 specialty areas, including Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, Neurology, Titanium Rib, and Robotics
Role Summary
- Assists with pre-operative and intraoperative patient care in the OR
- Prepares the OR, maintains aseptic technique, passes instruments and sutures, and supports the surgical team
- Handles patient transport, positioning, specimen care, and surgical supplies/equipment
- Works with decontamination, processing, and sterilization procedures for instruments and supplies
