Description
MS/Tele
Role
Travel/Contract Registered Nurse in Maryville, Tennessee.
Schedule
- Night shift: 18:45-07:15
- 3x12 schedule
- Every other weekend coverage
Unit / Setting
- Inpatient unit for stroke and TIA patients
- Also receives higher-acuity med-surg patients
- Adults & Geriatrics
- Staffing ratio on nights: 1:6
- Float required to other units based on need and skill set
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Experience with Epic
Required Certifications
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
Clinical Details
- Medication system: Omnicell
- Common diagnoses include Stroke/TIA, Seizure, Syncope, PNA, Chest Pain, Dialysis, Acute Kidney failure, Post Heart Cath, Respiratory Failure, Encephalopathy, CHF, and Sepsis
- Unit can perform peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation
