Description
Ultrasound Tech - General
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Oxford, North Carolina
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- 13-week contract
- Fri-Sun schedule
- 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Ultrasound Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Preferred
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Tech Cert Verification - National
- AHA or ARC preferred for ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- Titer/vaccines preferred for Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella
- BLS preferred for MLTs
Health and Immunization Requirements
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years of start, or declination
- Hepatitis B titer, vaccine series, or declination
- Flu vaccination or facility-specific medical/religious exemption during flu season
- Initial physical, updated annually
- TB questionnaire required annually for past positive TB results
Additional Notes
- Online training modules are required before start
- Facility accepts agency-branded job description
- Candidates can receive flu vaccine onsite
