Description

PT Inpatient Rehab

Role

  • Physical Therapist
  • Travel/Contract
  • Medical Rehabilitation Unit inside a Trauma hospital
  • Primarily stroke patients
  • Max 5 patients per day; usually 3-4 patients per day for 90 minutes each
  • 1 to 5 patient ratio

Schedule

  • 5x8 Days, Monday-Friday
  • 7:00am-4:30pm
  • Start date: every other week on Mondays, once fully cleared
  • Weekend work: No
  • On-call: No
  • Float: No

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in West Virginia
  • Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
  • Physical Therapist experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Driver's License
  • Social Security Card
  • 1 reference from a Manager, Supervisor, or Charge Nurse from a facility worked within 1 year of start
  • Annual skills checklist for specialty
  • Physical Therapist candidates must complete the required certification verification
  • Negative TB test within 3 months of start, or acceptable alternative testing as stated in the source
  • Drug screen within 30 days of start
  • Flu vaccine or approved exemption
  • COVID-19 vaccination proof or signed declination form
  • Tdap vaccination after age 11
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Hepatitis B immunity/vaccination requirements as stated in the source
  • Annual fit testing
  • Color blind testing prior to start
  • State license verification within 30 days of start
  • Background check and required federal exclusion checks within 30 days of start
