Role Overview

• Travel/Contract Registered Nurse in Abilene, Texas.
• 13-week assignment.
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Unit is heavy in ortho and general surgery patients.
• Will float within like units and possibly to sister campus.
• Start date is within the next 3-5 weeks.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience).
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
• ACLS.
• BLS.
• Background check.
• 2 references within 3 years of start.
• Copy of resume/application.
• Skills checklist.
• Government-issued photo ID.
• E-Verify or attestation.
• Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgement.
• Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing for Telemetry RNs.
• Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) for Telemetry nurses.
• Color blind testing.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start.
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Rubeola (Measles) documentation.
• Mumps documentation.
• Rubella documentation.
• Hepatitis B documentation.
• Varicella documentation.
• Drug testing.
• Texas DADS Employability Status Check.
• Texas Employee Misconduct Registry check.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM.
• HHS/OIG.
• NURSYS verification.
• State License 1 Verification.
• Tech Cert Verification - National.
• Employment application.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience.
• Travel experience.

Additional Notes

• Parking is available for orientation and employment parking after orientation at no fee.
• Modules are required during orientation and take roughly 3-4 hours to complete.
