Progressive Care RN

Overview

Role: Progressive Care RN
Employment type: Travel
Location: Tomball, Texas
Unit: Progressive Care
Schedule: 36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit Details

Beds: 34
Staffing: 1 charge, 6 RN, and 2 CNA on both day and night shifts
Patient ratio: 1:4
Floating: MED/SURG
Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per schedule
Dress code: Royal Blue

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Registered Nurse License
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of non titratable drips such as amiodarone and Cardizem
Tracheostomy experience
