RN Med Surg

Overview

Travel RN assignment in Lewisville, Texas.
7P-7A schedule.
36 hours per week.
13-week contract.

Unit

Ortho Trauma Unit / Med Surg
32 beds
4th floor, A tower
May float to Surgical Telemetry Unit or Inpatient Rehab

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Charge experience
Preceptor experience

Unit Details

Patient ratio: 1:6
Staffed with RN, LVN, and PCT
Common equipment includes Baxter IV pumps and Welch Allyn VS machines
EMR: Meditech

Typical Procedures

Ambulation of patients
Wound care as needed
