Stepdown / Med Surg Overflow / Neuro Exp Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract role in Memphis, Tennessee
Start date: ASAP
Day shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Stepdown / Med Surg Overflow / Neuro experience
Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Stepdown experience with 2 years of experience
Stepdown experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Driver's License

Schedule / Assignment Details

Ratios: 1:12, team nursing split between 2 RNs, 2 LPNs, med nurse, and charge
36 or 48-hour shifts may be used; schedule may change based on staffing needs
On-call as needed
Weekend rotation as needed
Block scheduling not open, though weekend block may be considered
All requested time off must be included at submission

Preferred

TNCC preferred for ER, not required

Additional Notes

Openings should not be submitted to more than one job ID/facility for the same traveler
RTO will not be sent for approval after an offer has been made
