CVOR
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Indianapolis, Indiana
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:30–19:00
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- 24 rooms
- Average daily census: 70–80
- Scrub not required
- Charge pay is offered
- First-time travelers are accepted if they have Level 1 Trauma Experience
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- CVOR (1.5 years of experience)
- CVOR experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Experience working with Cardiac Transplant patients
- Experience working with Pulmonary Transplant patients
- Experience with heart/lung transplant procedures
- Experience with valve replacement procedures
- Experience with aortic dissection procedures
- Experience receiving pump lines from perfusion and preparing them for cannulation
- OR Circulate experience
- CV call and holiday required
- 90–120 hours of call in a 6-week schedule

Unit Details
- OR RNs need to be well rounded and current in most areas except CV & Transplant, as they will be floated where needed
- Special equipment: DaVinci XI Methodist
