Description
PACU RN
Overview
- Travel RN position in Winchester, Kentucky
- 1 opening
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 0800–1630
- On-call required up to 8 days per month, including weekends and holidays, with a 30-minute response time
- Float scope: within the department to Pre-Op
- Patient population: Infant, Peds, Adult, Geriatric
- Unit has 9 PACU beds and 12 Pre Op beds
- Patient ratio in PACU: 1:1–2
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- Phase I and Phase II recovery
- Experience with service lines including Ortho, General Surgery, ENT, Cataracts, OB/GYN, Urology, Endoscopy
Preferred
- Teamwork
- Communication skills

- Scrub color: Navy or Black
