Operating Room
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Seattle, Washington
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift: 4x10 hours, 10:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Sunday through Wednesday
- ASAP start
Role details
- Functions as charge on the night shift, scheduling cases and completing them if they come in
- If there are no cases, responsible for setting up rooms for the following day
- Floating to other ORs at First Hill is possible
- Weekend coverage may be needed to meet department needs
- No call required for night shift roles
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart&Stroke Foundation
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart&Stroke Foundation
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Thoracic Surgery experience
- Vascular Surgery experience
Preferred Qualifications
- CNOR
Additional notes
- Candidates from other Providence facilities outside Swedish may be eligible for a travel contract if separated for at least 3 months
- Active compact license is honored at Swedish facilities
- Travel experience is expected
- Robotics, General, Urology, Gyn, Bariatrics, minor vascular, plastics, and thoracic cases are listed as hard stop areas
